Has anyone seen this show on the "Travel Channel" ?? I saw the first three epsiodes recently and they were really cool. The show has all kind of great segments on gold panning, diving for sunken treasure, and mining for diamonds, ruby's. emeralds, etc.

It was very entertaining and informative . Definitely worth a look.

A lot of people really get into that stuff. I had a metal detector as a teenager, and then bought one a couple of years ago.
A lot of places have been searched by detectors, but I'm sure there's lots more stuff to find.

But let's not look for each other's stashes!
